OpenDriveData is a non-profit dedicated to making the road a safer place
OpenDriveData's mission is to distribute and aggregate real-time LIDAR data to and from every autonomous vehicle in the world.
By infinitely expanding the amount of data available to every autonomous vehicle, we hope to help keep the road safe and provide the data infrastructure necessary to build the autonomous vehicle technology of the future.
We aim to provide a consistent and highly-available API that provides a real-time snapshot of the world around each car. By acting exclusively as a data brokerage, we can reduce the overhead required in storing and distributing data to self-driving cars and allow for the individual processing of the received data.
As a non-profit, we will regularly publish anonymized data dumps to help keep data open and to encourage faster development of newer, better, and safer autonomous vehicle technology.
